Get notified on Slack when something is going on on the site.You can connect a Slack channel to one or multiple spaces within your community.

Connect to Slack

Steps

1. From your HappyIO workspace, go to Settings > Integrations

2. In the Slack card, click Setup

3. Click Connect to Slack

4. Select the space you would like to send the notifications to Slack or the whole community, then click Connect to Slack

5. Authorize your Slack account and select a workspace from the top right

6. Choose which Slack #channel will receive your notifications and click Allow

That's it! If you want to add notifications to another channel, just repeat the above steps.

Customize received events

List of the site events that you can choose to send notifications to Slack

• New posts: Send a notification to Slack channel whenever a new post of selected space is created

• New comments: Send a notification to Slack channel whenever a new comment of selected space is created

• Post milestones: Send a notification to Slack channel whenever the number of posts hit the milestones of 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500,...

• New members joining the site: Send a notification to Slack channel whenever a new member joins selected space

• Status changes: Send a notification to Slack channel whenever a post status is updated

Steps

1. From your HappyIO workspace, go to Settings > Integrations

2. In the Slack card, click Setup

3. Review and Check or Uncheck on the checkboxes of events that match your needs

4. Click Save

Disconnect Slack

You can remove the Slack integration by deleting each individual notification set up.

Steps

1. From your HappyIO workspace, go to Settings > Integrations

2. In the Slack card, click Setup

3. On a row of the channel that you want to remove, click icon trash

In the confirmation popup, click Confirm
